Objectives

  • Humanise the brand online to stand out from its competitors using a consistent tone of voice and jargon-free language.

  • Create various forms of long/short-form content to educate their target audience on how to run a successful gym using their CRM software.

  • Increase web traffic using SEO blogging for key search terms, while using long-form content to become thought leaders in the space.

What I Did

  • Implemented a social media strategy focused on adding value to their audience. Tasks included copywriting for social, asset creation and monthly reporting.

  • Created bi-weekly blog posts centring around how gym owners can run their business more efficiently, and thought-leadership pieces on how fitness startups can make their business venture a success.

  • Set up a monthly newsletter to reengage existing users and warm leads.

  • Produced an eBook from repurposed blog content to use as a lead magnet for independent gym owners.

Results

  • Increased engagement rate to 2.7% on Facebook and 10% on LinkedIn.

  • Generated an average of 200 blog views per month.

  • Achieved consistent email open rates of 34%.

  • Reached 100 eBook downloads.

Key Challenges

  • Multitap wanted to make sure gamers in their local area knew about Multitap and the games they had on offer. 

  • Needed to get more regular customers through the door.

  • Lack of social media strategy that lead to inconsistent posting.

What I Did

  • Created a digital marketing strategy for Multitap to implement using the resources immediately available to them. The strategy included audience profiling, content ideas and implementation. plan designed to raise brand awareness.

  • Executed a photoshoot to give Multitap a portfolio of images for them to use across social media and other digital channels of their choosing.

Results

  • Multitap now had a clear strategy ready to start implementing on their social media channels, as well as a list of content ideas for them to start sharing.

  • Provided a clear audience analysis so that Multitap knew exactly who they needed to be targeting to get more customers through their doors.

  • Images taken were later published in an Essex Live article.

FX Currency Trading Platform

Key Challenges

  • Needed to raise awareness of their new ethical foreign exchange trading platform.

  • The founder didn't have enough time to spend raising awareness on LinkedIn.

  • Wanted to gain traction on social media to be ready for investors.

What I Did

  • Created & implemented an organic awareness strategy for the GoodFX LinkedIn page geared towards. corporate-social responsibility, including copywriting and creation of visual assets such as gifs and swipe-throughs.

  • Provided ideas for future marketing strategies.

Results

  • Reached over 300 accounts per month on average.

  • Secured an average engagement rate of 2.18% - more than five times the benchmark for LinkedIn.

Key Challenges

  • Wanted to raise awareness on Facebook and drive clicks back to their website.

  • Needed to educate angling committees on how they can use CRM software to streamline their operations.

  • Wanted to keep customers and prospects engaged with Clubmate.

What I Did

  • Created and implemented a social media strategy designed to position Clubmate in front of anglers and angling committee members.

  • Wrote blog posts to boost site SEO rankings for key search terms and answer common questions relating to fishing club management.

  • Produced a monthly newsletter focused on delivering educational content, case studies and driving clicks back to the Clubmate website.

Results

  • Established an average 28% email open rate and a 4.5% click-through rate - more than 20% and 125% higher than the industry benchmarks respectively.

  • Reached over 11,000 accounts on Facebook in six months.

  • Built an average Facebook engagement rate of 7.8% which is seven times the Facebook average.
