The Brief:
Flat White Frames started as a a passion project and the question, what would I make if there was no client, no brief, and no deadline? The project combines two of my biggest hobbies: specialty coffee and photography. It's a space where I can shoot what I want, write what I want, and build something that's mine.
What I Did:
I created and run the Flat White Frames Instagram, which is a feed dedicated to coffee culture, the places it lives, and the world around it, producing all of the content for it myself. I've also built a website from scratch to house the project properly, and I'm in the process of launching a print shop where a small selection of my photography will be available to buy.
Why it Matters:
Flat White Frames is where I can flex my creative muscles. Every photo, reel and creative decision comes from genuine passion rather than a brief, and I think that it shows. It's some of the work I'm most proud of.
Where it's Going:
The print shop launch is the next milestone; bringing my photography into people's homes in a format that does it proper justice. Follow along on Instagram at @flatwhiteframes, or visit the site to see the project in full at www.flatwhiteframes.blog.
